Student Baptisms

On Saturday, May 22, eleven members of the SBS community chose to get baptized, signifying a transformation of their lives—not by human effort, but by God’s amazing, life-changing power. At Sand Street Beach, Chaplain Dr. Mark Tietjen and Director of Equity and Inclusion Chris Burton joyfully baptized seven students, two alumni, and two faculty children, surrounded by friends, family, faculty, and staff.
