Steven Hardee '22 finishes Top 10
While on winter break, Steven Hardee ‘22 competed in the Youth World Sailing Competition in Oman. The event is a multi-day competition that features over 350 young sailors, representing over 55 countries. During the event, Steven placed as high as 5th during the first day, but finished the event in the top 10 against some of the best sailing competition in the world. Congratulations Steven for your outstanding accomplishment!
“It was my first time in a Middle Eastern country and I was amazed. We were in the middle of nowhere but there were a lot of news broadcasters and television trucks. I learned a lot of valuable lessons during the event especially that I need to hydrate and communicate between my partner and coach, all being on the same page.”
